About Muskegon Hearing & Speech Center

Our Mission. The mission of the Muskegon Hearing and Speech Center is the conservation of hearing, the prevention of deafness and the rehabilitation of those living with hearing and/or communication disorders and the promotion of their general welfare. Services will be provided to all regardless of age, sex, race, national origin, religion, handicapped condition or ability to pay.

Our Purpose. Muskegon Hearing and Speech Center provides habilitative and rehabilitative audiology services to the deaf and hearing impaired residents of Muskegon County and surrounding area.

Although in-house clinical audiology services represent 80% of our work, we currently contract with other agencies for the provision of audiology services in house and in the field. We also work cooperatively with local physicians, area nursing homes, the Muskegon Public Health Department and many local industries in the areas of education, information and prevention. The number of people we see and the number of services we provide are growing each year. We feel our nonprofit status, our United Way affiliation, our client centered philosophy and the practicing of good audiology all combine to offer a unique center to the whole community and its hearing impaired citizens.
